During a restorative yoga session, different negative emotions that have been buried in our connective tissue are finally able to come up to the surface. Fear comes up, anger, self-righteousness, frustration, anxiety and all the other negative emotions holding us back in life. From a place of peace, we are able to release these blockages. Restorative Yoga reprograms muscle memory and rewires the nervous system to stop the cycle of pain and discomfort in your mind & body. Therefore, I invite you to experience this Restorative Yoga session to finally start releasing old negative patterns that are holding you back from reaching your full potential. This episode focuses on specific yoga poses that provide natural and gentle spinal decompression. These postures are held for 4 - 5 minutes, working deep into the connective tissue. Be prepared to have a yoga strap, yoga block, yoga bolster, wool or mexican blanket and a few pillows to serve as props and support for several of the yoga asanas presented in this podcast.
